Data visualization is an important part of ERP software products for sophisticated planning. Microsoft Dynamics NAV therefore delivers Gantt charts by default as planning tools within the Production Module to visualize production orders and resource utilization. This Production Schedule is created with NETRONIC´s VARCHART XGantt ActiveX control that hence is seamlessly integrated into Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
However, the standard Gantt charts in the Production Module of Microsoft Dynamics NAV only provide basic functionalities. These are OK for getting started, but we increasingly observe from many Microsoft Dynamics NAV customers and partners that these basic functions often are too limited. The good news is: VARCHART XGantt already is part of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and hence its full functionality can get used pretty straight-forward: NAV customers and partners do not need to integrate a third-party tool nor do they need to develop something from scratch. With getting a VARCHART XGantt license, they can customize the planning board in Microsoft Dynamics NAV to the individual and demanding needs of their customers and users, and they can also create new graphical applications.
